Been a busy Tuesday...hubby picked more beans and other veggies...so cooked up a pot of beans and ham hocks for his supper!  I was at a chick flick at our church...including supper...fun evening!!

Favorite Endings

1. What's your favorite type of ending to a movie/play?   Happy!!! LOL

2. What's your favorite type of ending to a book/novel?   I guess the same as the movie...I like 'feel good' endings!!

3. What would be your favorite ending to your life story?   Brought love and happiness to all I met and was a good witness for my Lord and Savior.

4. What would be your favorite sentence ending to these ridiculous questions?  Okay enough is enough of favorite endings, now looking forward to next weeks meme!! :)

1. What thoughts come to your mind when you think of 'summer'?
Sitting outside in the swing with my Kindle or book....Planting flowers, fresh veggies out of the garden, WARM temperatures, long days, day trips to the lake, Pam and Dan's cottage, Mackinac Island, Upper Peninsula water falls, picnics, capris, Lori and Bill's pool, swimming, Music Under the Stars at the Toledo Zoo, Sitting on the deck watching the hummingbirds, sound of the birds at the feeders, sunny days, thunderstorms, county fair, 4H when the kids were young, 4th of July celebrations. camp fires, Smores ...oh wow there are soooo many!!

2. If you could 'fix up' summer, make it perfect, what would you do?
I would keep the warm temperatures and lessen the humidity but overall I LOVE summer...so the best thing would be that it would be longer....I'd take 9 months out of the 12 for summer!!

3. Which do you prefer---picnic or cookout?
Picnic...especially impromptu picnics at the lake!

4.Do you have a special summer memory ?
  In my pre teen years I went to Windsor Ontario every summer for 2 weeks to visit my cousin Joanne, then she came to Michigan and visited with us for 2 weeks...what fun!!  When I was older my special summer memory would be going to the lake with my hubby...( when we were dating!) And getting ice cream of course!! LOL We always had a group of us that enjoyed our time together...

 5. How about a special summertime song?
    Those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer!!  Love that silly song!!

1. Traveling by Air, Sea or Land?  For long distances definitely air...but to see our beautiful country I would have to say by land!

2. Hotel, Camp Grounds or Summer Cottage?   Summer cottage!!!  I use to love camping when the kids were small.  We had a tent and it was so cheap in comparison to other vacationing that we were able to go more often, but as we are in our "golden" years camping really isn't an option...not tent camping anyway.  We did own a truck camper and absolutely LOVED it but now it's either the cottage venue or hotel....

3. Sightseeing, Weather Related Sports or Relaxing?   Relaxing....followed by sight seeing.

4. Favorite vacation season? Summer!! (and early Fall)
