To the saddened heart,
He pours out the oil of gladness;
To the discouraged heart,
He brings a song of hope;
To the lonely heart,
He comes with the nearness of His presence;
To the disappointed heart,
He speaks a promise of better things;
To the drifting heart,
He secures the anchor of His steadfast love;
To the wounded heart,
He applies the healing ointment of His grace;
To the soiled heart,
He washes with the rivers of His mercies;
