Garden Bloggers Bloom Day

What’s blooming in your garden on this beautiful mid-May day?

Welcome to Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day for May 2010. Here are some of my flowers that are blooming at our place on May 15, 2010...I think this is a awesome way to share what is blooming in our gardens on the 15th of each month..so here I go..(check out the Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day blog above)

Here is a photo of my rhododendron which seems to bloom about every 2 years..it is just getting started to bloom and it looks gorgeous...

In our front yard we have some irises that got moved a few years ago and have done great since the 'move'.. and they have burst into bloom this week also!! Love irises!!!

Also blooming and looking fantastic are the geraniums...which are my favorite annual for hanging baskets! I have another one (not pictured) that is a ivy geranium, which trails quite nicely and looks gorgeous too!!

My hubby got me this beautiful begonia for Mother's Day..It was budded but now it is in full bloom!! And it looks so pretty in the hanging basket!!

The last of my flowers that are blooming (that I have photos of) is some hardy pansies..they have been sitting on my deck for over a month and are now in full bloom..so nice to look out and see all the bright colors..has really made it seem like spring even when the temps were brrrrr chilly!

Hope you enjoyed seeing some of the flowers that are blooming in my yard on this beautiful May 15th!!
God Bless!!

Dear Alice

Your pansies are so lovely and cheerful - its about all the bedding I have outside just now too. Thinking about geraniums but its still too cold here in Scotland for them along with begonias aswell. I to would love to have Iris blooming like that - its lovely. I love looking into the little petals and seeing all the lovely colours. I see God's fingerprints all around me in the garden. :) Rosie

Reallyyyy nice flowers. We have some of those flower bloom here year round. My Mom from Texas is jealous of our climate that allows that. :D I think I might have to take some pictures of what's blooming around here. Wouldn't it be nice to keep a gardner's journal? Hope you have a great week! Hugs!
