A Busy Tuesday!

God delights in turning the pages of our lives so that He can write exciting new chapters. -Roy Lessin
Good evening on a rainy Tuesday...I have had a busy but good day. Our rhubarb is ripe and Fred went out to the garden early this afternoon and picked a big bag full and brought it in..put it on the counter...and I said is that a hint for rhubarb custard pie?? (Already had planned on baking today!)

This is not a photo taken by me but the pies I made ( 3 today..more tomorrow) look just like this one..and yes I have already had a piece and it was yummy!! Before I could make the pies I had to make a shopping trip to the grocery store..I am also making 2 strawberry/pretzel desserts for Megan's graduation open house Saturday..(request from the graduate!!) so I got all the ingredients for them also. Tomorrow is the brunch at our Bible study so I am making a cherry cheesecake to take. So like I said it's been a busy day.

I had planned on working outside in the flower beds but needless to say the weather didn't cooperate and then the baking bug bit me so the flowers will have to wait until later in the week!!

I have been working on my new blog page..Grammy's Grands' the link to it is on the right side above my profile picture if you'd like to come and visit!! It's still "under construction" but I am having a lot of fun doing it and am getting a lot of help from Judy!! This is for you Judy...

This past Sunday was an exciting day ...our granddaughter Megan graduated from high school. We went to the ceremony and even with 370 graduates it was over in about an hour and a half. After the ceremony ( and many photos) we went to Red Lobster . Now this Saturday the 12th we will have the last celebration for this graduate..open house with lots of food and fun! I am posting a couple pictures now but be assured I will be posting some more later!!

Thanks for reading and looking at the pictures...Have a wonderful evening..Many Blessings!!

Wish I liked Rhubarb, but I never have liked it so as yummy as your pies sound I don't think I'd like them! :(

Hope you enjoyed your day at Bible study!
