Mid week already!

Another Wednesday is almost done..I can't believe it's 11:00 pm already.

We had our Bible study group brunch this morning and it was really nice..the food was good, but the fellowship and prayer time was awesome!
For the brunch I made a cherry cheesecake...
This is super easy to make..here's the recipe if you would like to try it!
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8- or 9-inch) baked pie shell or graham cracker crumb crust
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling, chilled

Directions

  1. In large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in EAGLE BRAND® sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla.
  2. Pour into crust; chill 4 hours or until set. Top with desired amount of cherry pie filling before serving. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.

So now we don't have our study until the first Wednesday in September..then we will be studying Beth Moore's "Living Beyond Yourself it's a study on Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit..I am really looking forward to this study.

Haven't done a lot this afternoon..did get the laundry done..went to Office Max and had a picture out of our local newspaper of the Graduating Class of 2010 laminated so Lori could use it along with all her other photos at Megan's open house Saturday. Then while we were out we went to Shorty's Barbecue for supper..it's a restaurant that specializes in ribs and normally we don't go to those kind of places as Fred does NOT eat ribs..(and I love them!!) But he decided to give it a try because they also advertised steaks and burgers..we had a really nice meal and he liked his steak and I 'really' like my ribs!!

My laptop has been a little sluggish tonight and deciding to just stop once in a while..thank goodness for auto save or I would have lost this whole post. I think I have rambled on long enough...Praying you all have a terrific Thursday and may God richly bless you!!

I would love that cheesecake, but I don't see it in my future because of the calories! I've worked too hard to lose the few pounds I have that I'm not going to go back now! :)

Loved reading about your day...glad you got your ribs! :) Also glad Fred found something he likes there so you might get back their more often! LOL

Have a great day!
