Well this week has really gone by fast. I have been getting things together for our vacation and the time has gotten away from me. So I thought I'd better just take the time and get in here and update you on what's going on here in beautiful Michigan. Our weather has been really good this week, we have had some much needed rain but mostly warm summer days!!
First I have to go back to almost a week ago when I posted about my cosmetic horror..(my front crown coming off)...well on Tuesday I went and seen my regular dentist and he took the impressions etc for a new permanent crown and reset the temporary and so far so good!! I told him if it popped off again he'd have to make a trip north where we are staying to fix it!!
On my last post I said I would post some pictures of Kari's shower...well I don't have many but here are a few....everyone had such a good time!!

Last night we went to a ball game in Toledo..the Toledo Mud Hens (minor league team of the Detroit Tigers) My brother Dale who passed away in March, was a big fan of both teams and each year headed up a group from his church and they went to at least one Mud Hen game..well this year a couple of the men of this group organized a Memorial night to Dale and there were around 200 of friends and family all in the same section to remember him!! My sister in law Grace got to throw out a ceremonial first pitch and one of the ladies..Anita..from his church sang the National Anthem..all in all it was a great evening..he would have 'loved' it!! He is missed so much but is celebrating with Jesus!!

The baseball game sounds awesoe. What a wonderful tribute to Dale!! My son (Josh) is going to a Springfield Cardinals game this weekend AA team for St. Louis. It is so fun, we see the guys here and many of them are on the St. Louis team now.
Well, I got one more class down. I will start my methods courses in the Fall. Yay!! This is taking forever...LOL!! It is worth it though. I love kids.
