Quiet Saturday..

Not much going on here in Michigan this Saturday!! Another day with temps in the 90's and 100 degree heat index. I slept in this morning after waking up early to try and call my dentist to see if someone was in today...well no one answered the phone ...just a recording. I had been to the dentist yesterday and got a temporary crown on one of my 'front' teeth and last night at the bridal shower for Kari it came off while I was eating fruit salad..well being it's right in the front I definitely have a cosmetic horror on my hands with it off!! So later this afternoon I made a trip to RiteAid and got me some recap cement to hopefully keep it on until my appointment on Tuesday..

Been a busy week..I was at Lori's on Thursday and part of Friday for her garage sale..I had a few things in it and sold some but it was a bit slow. Today I didn't go over and she said they did have more "customers" today so that's good. Last night was Kari's shower and there was a really good turnout. She got a lot of really nice gifts and was so excited about everything. And the planters I posted about last time were a hit! Everyone liked them even the younger girls!! Had lots of good food and a delicious cake to round off the evening..The wedding is in less than a month!! August 21st!! I will post some pics here of the shower when I get them on my puter!

This afternoon when I went out to get the mail I was coming back up the driveway and I heard a bunch of chirping..and I looked up at the one birdhouse that is hanging in our red maple tree and one of the "parents" head was sticking out the hole and chirping like crazy but I could hear lots more inside..so I stood and watched them and it would go back in and then I could see through the hole these little beaks and the chirping would get louder...so I took a chance and came in and got my camera and was able to get a couple photos..it's a little hard to see but thought I'd share anyway!! Remember this is a really close up shot and the bird house is not as large as it appears!! LOL




Well think I will go outside for a few more minutes..I love being outside..I get very tired of being closed up in the house with the a/c on. I appreciate it for sleeping but otherwise I like my outdoors! Hope you are all having a great weekend..enjoy your day tomorrow..remember it's the Lord's Day!!
