Autumn Poem...

I don't always post on Sunday's but after an awesome few days of touring around our beautiful 'autumn' countryside I had to post this poem I found..it was written by a B. Parker who lives in Michigan and I thought it was so appropriate for the season and said just what I would say if I was a poet!!

Autumn Arrives

Against backdrops of forest green,
I chanced upon an awesome scene.

Resplendent in the cool, crisp air
Were signs of autumn everywhere.

Reds, oranges, yellows caught the breeze,
Waltzing a cadence through the trees.

And in my mind's eye I could see
A multicolored tapestry.

And there I stood in silence deep,
Just watching lofty colors sweep
Across the landscaped forest floor
And knew I could not ask for more.

A poet's love of words will speak;
An artist paints when colors peak.
But only nature bares her all
When autumn leaves begin to fall.

And of course along with this I had to add some of most recent photos of the beautiful colors here in Michigan!!

And the last one...Fall roses!! They were so pretty!!! Amazing Autumn!!!!

May you have a wonderful Sunday evening..and many blessings!
