Had a fun day today meeting Pam for lunch and getting to meet one of her online friends..Sue from Toronto area of Canada..it was such a blessing and I am looking forward to keeping in touch with her! Did some shopping after I left the "girls" and this evening did some more with hubby. Hope all of you had a wonderful Friday.... Here is a poem I am sharing with you..sort of says it all!! Autumn Arrives
Against backgrounds of forest green,
I chanced upon an awesome scene.
Resplendent in the cool, crisp air
Were signs of autumn everywhere.
Reds, oranges, yellows caught the breeze,
Waltzing a cadence through the trees.
And in my mind's eye I could see
A multicolored tapestry.
And there I stood in silence deep,
Just watching lofty colors sweep
Across the landscaped forest floor
And knew I could not ask for more.
A poet's love of words will speak;
An artist paints when colors peak.
But only nature bares her all
When autumn leaves begin to fall.
