Good evening! Wow I can't believe I haven't been here this week since Monday and then it was on my SWD blog..hmm where did the week go..well let's see...
Monday we went to Megan's concert and it was good..this was her first choral concert at the community college...very different from her Soiree in high school but still good..then we stopped at LaFiesta to eat on the way home..we rode with Bill and Lori. Josh and Kari went too so it was fun seeing them and Megan at the same time along with Bill and Lori..had a fun evening.
Tuesday..Fred usually has a meeting on Tuesday nights but it was canceled this week so we went to the movies..afternoon matinee...and seen Secretariat. It was a good movie..very clean no bad language..so that's a good thing!! Then we used a coupon we had and had supper after the movie at Elephant Bar..very good and a nice day all around.
Wednesday was Bible study and as usual it was very good..it was a good time of prayer and then studying the lesson together.
Yesterday was a pretty quiet day around here..the main goal was to get the grocery shopping done and I made that!! I put it off long enough that hubby went along with me..then late afternoon we went and watched Morgan run in her cross country meet..she did real well and was so excited that she had people there watching..Lori also was there along with Ed, Angie and the boys so she was happy.
That brings me up to today..took my car to get serviced..needed tires (which I knew) and oil change etc and while they were checking found a couple other things so it is at the shop and will be ready to pick up tomorrow (had to get the tires in from another shop) I have a loaner until I get it back so all is well. That's how my week went..nothing too exciting but we have had beautiful fall weather..lots of sunshine, lots of beautiful colors, the trees are so pretty. Has gotten me into decorating a bit more in the house..here is one picture.....have a wonderful weekend..

Hi Sweet Alice. Sounds like a busy, fun-filled week of family! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and got away for a "date" with your Hubby! We LOVE the Elephant Bar - we go to one in Burlingame, CA when we're in the San Francisco Bay area. Yum!!
